H1N1 Memo regarding OFSAA Championships.
Congratulations to Kathy Garvey of St. Peter's
Thank you to everyone who submitted nominations for the Coaching Excellence Awards. There were many worthy coaches and the committee had some very difficult decisions to make. This year’s recipients are Kathy Garvey from COSSA and Lorne Smith from TDSSAA. The Coaching Excellence Awards will be presented February 27th, 2010 in Guelph, ON.
Kathy Garvey has been involved in coaching for over 23 years, coaching gymnastics, basketball, boys volleyball, field hockey and track and field. She has developed a strong relationship with all her athletes and organizes an alumni game each year against her senior basketball team. Kathy is also the Co-Chair for the Kawartha Athletic Association, Curriculum Chair of Physical Education at St. Peters and sits on the Executive of the Peterborough Youth Basketball Association.
